Dr. V Nishant Janardhana Raju

Dr. V Nishant Janardhana Raju is an efficient and dedicated doctor, currently working as chief consultant at Win Vision Eye hospital, Vijayawada. He is specialized in performing cataract, cornea and refractive surgeries.

He worked as consultant at Sankara Eye Hospital, Krishnankovil, Tamil Nadu from January 2019 to June 2019. He served as Chief Consultant (Cataract, Cornea & Refractive) at Maxivision eye hospital, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh from August 2021 TO June 2022.

His field of expertise is in management of corneal ectasias, corneal ulcers, OSSN, ocular surface disorders (Dry eye disease, Allergic eye diseases, Chemical & thermal injuries, Meibomian gland dysfunction).

He is specialized in performing all types of cataract surgeries, corneal transplantations, Refractive surgeries [LASIK, PRK, Phakic IOLS (ICL & IPCL)].

EDUCATION:

He completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere, Karnataka (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore). He pursued MS (ophthalmology) from Kasturba medical college, Manipal, Karnataka (Manipal University, Manipal). He has done Fellowship in General Ophthalmology (FGO) from Sankara Eye Hospital, Krishnankovil, Tamil Nadu. He accomplished his Fellowship in Cornea & Refractive Surgery (FCRS) from Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur, AP (GOLD MEDAL).

AWARDS :

  • Awarded GOLD MEDAL (BEST OUTGOING FELLOW) for Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive surgery.
  • 3rd prize in intercollege “Postgraduate quiz” conducted during CME “SHIFTING PARADIGMS IN GLAUCOMA” held at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore on 12th june 2016.
